Amazon Luna: Play Star Wars Galactic Racer Free with Prime

Ever wanted to dive into Star Wars Galactic Racer without dropping a dime? If you've got an Amazon Prime membership, you might just be able to.

Amazon Luna, the company's cloud gaming service, offers Star Wars Galactic Racer as part of its lineup. That means you can stream the game directly to your PC or mobile device—no console required. But there's a catch: you need to be in a supported country and have an active Prime subscription.

The list of eligible countries is pretty specific. In North America, it's just Canada and the United States. Over in Europe, you're covered if you're in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, or the United Kingdom. If you're outside these regions, you're out of luck for now.

Assuming you're in one of those countries, getting started is a breeze. Fire up Amazon Luna, log in with your Prime account, and search for Star Wars Galactic Racer. Hit the 'play now' button, and the game will start streaming. Just make sure you have a stable, ideally high-speed internet connection—otherwise, you might run into low-res visuals and stuttering.

Now, what can you actually play? When streaming via Luna, you get access to everything except the multiplayer modes. That means the single-player campaign, Scenarios (short tours to try different Racer Styles), and Arcade time trials are all fair game. So you can sink hours into the solo content and get a real feel for the game.

It's a fantastic way to try before you buy. If you already have Prime, it's essentially free. And even if you don't, you could subscribe just for this—but let's be honest, you probably have Prime for the shipping anyway. After playing on Luna, you can decide whether to purchase the full game for better performance and online multiplayer. Just keep in mind that, as far as we know, there's no way to transfer your progress from Luna to the full version.

Before you jump in, you might want to check out some tips to get ahead of the competition. Knowing the best speeder type and Favors can make a big difference. So, will you be giving Star Wars Galactic Racer a spin on Amazon Luna? Let us know in the comments!
