Get your wallets ready, PlayStation fans in China! Sony has just announced a massive Double 11 sale, and it's packed with deals on consoles, controllers, and games. The promotion kicks off on October 29 and runs through November 11, so you've got a solid two weeks to snag some sweet discounts.
During the sale, you can grab the PlayStation 5 standard edition (slim) or digital edition (slim) from JD.com's official PlayStation flagship store or Tmall's official PlayStation flagship store. Both retailers are offering 12-month interest-free installments, and JD.com is also throwing in a trade-in service. That means you can upgrade to a PS5 without breaking the bank.
Controllers are getting some love too. The DualSense wireless controller starts at just 499 yuan (limited editions excluded), while the DualSense Edge wireless controller is priced at 1,399 yuan. If you've been eyeing that pro-level controller for an edge in competitive games, now's your chance.
As for games, several popular titles are getting price cuts. Sackboy: A Big Adventure is down to 199 yuan, Lost Soul Aside is 198 yuan, and Astro Bot is 209 yuan. Whether you're into charming platformers or action-packed adventures, there's something for everyone.
If you're new to the PS5, here's a quick refresher: the console uses a custom CPU and GPU to handle up to 4K resolution, plus an ultra-high-speed SSD and integrated I/O for lightning-fast load times. Pair it with the DualSense controller and 3D audio-capable PlayStation headsets, and you're in for a seriously immersive experience.
The DualSense controller itself is a game-changer. Its haptic feedback and adaptive triggers make you feel every action, from environmental effects to weapon recoil. The adaptive triggers let you sense different levels of resistance and tension, adding a whole new layer of immersion. And with the DualSense Edge, you get high performance and customization options to tailor the controls to your playstyle.
Among the discounted games, Sackboy: A Big Adventure offers a warm, handcrafted art style and fun platforming, with local and online co-op perfect for family or friends. Lost Soul Aside focuses on fast-paced combat and stunning visuals in a fantasy world, all in gorgeous 4K. And Astro Bot leverages the DualSense's features to let you explore six planets and over 70 levels, meeting iconic PlayStation characters along the way.
