Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake Shows Off Gorgeous Zora's Domain

Get ready to get your feet wet, because the Ocarina of Time remake just showed off Zora's Domain — and the water looks absolutely stunning.

The official account dropped fresh footage of the remake, putting the spotlight on one of the series' most iconic locations. The giant waterfall cave is back in full force, faithfully recreated with some seriously upgraded tech behind it. If you thought you knew this area by heart, you might want to take another look.

Thanks to the new rendering tech, the water effects have gotten a massive glow-up. The lake is crystal clear, the underwater plants are easy to spot, and the way the currents ripple and light filters through the water is genuinely detailed. It's the kind of thing that makes you want to just stop and stare instead of rushing off to the next dungeon.

In the clip, Link wades and swims through the water with Navi right there beside him, just like old times. The Zora, the cave's stone pillars, the torches on the rock walls, and even those retro signposts all make their return. It's a full-on visual overhaul while still keeping the original vibe intact — exactly what you'd hope for from a remake.

According to official info, this one's being rebuilt from the ground up. The main story structure stays true to the original, but character designs have been redone and Hyrule's terrain has seen some adjustments too. As the release date creeps closer, the official site keeps dropping new screenshots almost every week, and at this point there aren't many unrevealed areas of Hyrule left.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake launches exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026. If you want the full package, a themed console and Pro Controller arrive early on October 29, with related amiibo figures planned for sometime in 2027.
