Ever found yourself staring at a door lock in Hellraiser Revival, completely baffled by a bunch of sex positions? You're not alone. The Private Rooms door puzzle is one of the raunchiest head-scratchers you'll face, and it's tucked away at the end of the club foyer during the 'Hunt Marlowe' objective. But here's the catch: you can't just waltz up and solve it. You need a special embossed block first, and that means unlocking a certain ability.
Before you can even think about tackling this puzzle, you'll need the Hell Chains ability. Once you've got that, you'll find yourself back in the club after escaping the labyrinth, ready to unleash some brutal new moves on a heap of cultists. After the slaughter, look toward the room's double gold doors. Instead of exiting back to the foyer, take the door on your left. Follow the bloody hallway and take the second door on the left. Inside, you'll spot an ear statue sitting on a white dresser. Inspect it, pull out the pins, and grab the embossed block. Now you're ready to head back.
Leave the hallway, go through the gold double doors, descend the stairs, and make your way to the red double doors at the end of the foyer. Interact with the door and select the block to slot it into the lock. The lock now has four embossed blocks, each showing a different sex position. Like other puzzles in the game, you can rotate each block to change the image. But which images go where?
Step back from the lock and look up. To the left of the Private Rooms door, you'll see two large banners. The first shows a position we'll call 'upside down'; the second is 'knee up.' On the right side, there are two more banners: the first is 'leg up' and the second is 'tied up.' Your job is to rotate the blocks so they match the banners from left to right. So the correct order is: upside down, knee up, leg up, tied up. Once you've set them correctly, the door will automatically open, granting you access to the cultist club's private play area.
And that's it! You've solved the Private Rooms door puzzle. Now you can explore whatever debauchery lies beyond. Got any other tricky puzzles you're stuck on? Let us know in the comments!
