Forza Horizon 6 Not Racing to PS5 This Year, It's Claimed

Are you holding out for Forza Horizon 6 on PS5 this year? Bad news: it might not happen. According to recent claims, the upcoming racer isn't coming to PlayStation 5 in 2025. Instead, it's currently scheduled for 2026.

That's right—if you're a PS5 owner hoping to drift into the Horizon festival this year, you'll likely have to wait. The source of this claim points to Playground Games' plans, which apparently target a 2026 release. Of course, plans can change, but for now, it looks like PlayStation fans are in for a longer wait.

Forza Horizon 6 was already on the radar for a 2026 launch, but the question of a PS5 version has been up in the air. This latest claim suggests that even if the game does come to PS5, it won't be this year. So, what does that mean for you? If you're a PlayStation gamer, you might want to temper your expectations for a 2025 release. The wait could stretch into 2026 or beyond.

It's worth noting that Forza Horizon has traditionally been an Xbox and PC exclusive. However, with Microsoft's recent push to bring more games to other platforms, there's been speculation about a PS5 version. This claim doesn't rule out a PS5 release entirely—it just says it's not happening this year. So, there's still hope for a future announcement.

For now, all we have is this claim. Neither Playground Games nor Microsoft has officially confirmed anything about Forza Horizon 6's platforms or release date. As always, it's best to take rumors with a grain of salt until we hear something official.

So, what do you think? Are you disappointed that Forza Horizon 6 might not hit PS5 this year? Or are you just excited for the game regardless of platform? Let us know in the comments below!
