Ever been shot in the back and wished you could just... spin instantly? Razer's new Basilisk V4 Pro gaming mouse basically grants that wish with a feature called "Perfect 180" — and it's got the community split. Well, mostly split. Actually, not that split at all.
Here's the deal: Perfect 180 lets you map a near-instant 180-degree spin to a single mouse button through Razer's software. One click, and you're suddenly facing whatever — or whoever — is behind you. Sounds handy, right? Maybe a little too handy.
Last week we asked you the big question: does this count as cheating? A total of 316 of you responded to the poll (seriously, where were the rest of you — asleep?), and the results came back loud and clear. 79% of respondents said yes, this is cheating. The remaining 21% reckon it's totally fine.
So the vast majority of you aren't buying the idea that a one-button insta-turn is just a harmless quality-of-life perk. When a single click can erase the disadvantage of being caught off guard, it's easy to see why so many players draw a line there.
That said, the 21% who voted no clearly see it differently — maybe as a clever use of hardware software, or just another tool in the kit. Either way, it's a debate that isn't going away anytime soon, especially as gaming mice keep packing in more software-driven tricks.
For now, the numbers speak for themselves: nearly four out of five voters are side-eyeing Perfect 180. Whether Razer's feature ends up banned, embraced, or just argued about in lobbies forever, one thing's certain — you all have opinions.
Where do you land on this? Is a one-click 180 a fair fight or a cheap trick? And more importantly — would you actually use it if you had the chance?
