No Man's Sky Streamer Hunts for a Freighter in New Expedition

Ever spent hours warping from system to system, hoping a freighter finally shows up? That's exactly where Massively OP's MJ finds herself in No Man's Sky right now.

MJ is making her way through the game's Our Journey Continues expedition, and as she goes, she'll run into each of the updates in truncated form. Right now, she's still plugging away at Phase 1, which is called Foundations.

That means she hasn't even hit the later phases yet, but she'll be jetting into them soon enough. Expeditions like this are a great way to sample everything No Man's Sky has added over the years without grinding through the full game first.

One task she's really looking forward to? Finding a freighter. If you've played No Man's Sky, you know the drill: these massive capital ships can anchor your entire journey, giving you mobile storage, a place to manage your fleet, and a home base that travels with you.

For now, though, it's all about Foundations. Phase 1 is where the expedition lays its groundwork, and MJ is steadily checking off the objectives before moving on to whatever comes next.

So if you're running the Our Journey Continues expedition yourself, you're in good company. Plenty of players are still working through those early milestones, and the freighter hunt is one of those goals that feels genuinely rewarding once it's done.
