Key has officially announced Summer Pockets Sunnyside Stories, a visual novel romance compilation heading to PC in Japan on December 18, 2026. If you've been waiting for an excuse to revisit that sun-soaked island life, this is it.

The project adapts the Summer Pockets short stories that were originally published on the official website back in 2018, giving them a proper home in game form. But it's not just a straight port of old material — the release also adds brand-new content created specifically for this compilation. So even if you read every single one of those web stories years ago, there's something fresh waiting for you.

The original short-story collection was published as Summer Pockets Short Story: Natsu no Mabushisa, which fans of the franchise will recognize as a familiar piece of the series' extended universe. Sunnyside Stories looks set to bundle that material together with the new additions into one package.
