GTA6 PS5 Physical Edition Pre-Orders Open in Taiwan, Collector's Box Revealed

Ever wondered where you'd actually get your hands on a physical copy of GTA6 in Taiwan? Well, Taiwan Mobile just answered that question loud and clear.

The carrier has locked in exclusive rights to sell the PS5 physical edition of Grand Theft Auto VI through its telecom channel. Even bigger news for collectors: it's also the only place to pre-order the "Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection" premium box set. Pre-orders for the PS5 physical version are open right now on the myfone online store, with shipping starting November 12.

For some context on just how massive this franchise is, GTA 5 launched back in 2013 and has sold over 200 million copies. The new entry takes players back to Vice City and expands the map to the fictional state of Leonida, delivering the biggest game world the series has ever seen. The story follows Jason and Lucia, a outlaw couple whose botched job drags them into a statewide crime conspiracy.

So what's the damage? The PS5 physical edition has a list price of NT$2,320 and ships from November 12. The premium collector's box is priced at NT$15,990, also available for pre-order on myfone, with shipping beginning November 19. You can grab either one with a qualifying mobile plan or just pre-order it straight up — the exact plan details will be announced later.

Taiwan Mobile also plans to roll out GTA6 bundles and dedicated rate plans through its sub-brand "OP響樂生活," along with in-store displays at physical retail locations.

Now, about that collector's box — it's packed with 11 Vice City-themed goodies. Just a heads-up: there's no game disc inside, only a download code. The lineup includes a 6-inch Smoker Croc Maka figure with storage space, matte black GTAVI Oakley Frogskins sunglasses with Prizm Sapphire lenses, a New Era 9FORTY A-Frame snapback with Leonida Vice City detailing, a Smoker Croc Maka magnetic mirror, a Vice City stirrer, a Vice City razor keychain, a Leonida Keys crossbody bag, a Manatee chubby shot glass, a Leonida Keys custom tin with enamel pin set, a premium sticker pack, and a double-sided commemorative poster featuring a Leonida panorama.

The Oakley shades sport a matte black frame with Prizm Sapphire lenses and a pink GTA VI logo, while the New Era cap comes with Leonida Vice City decorations, embroidery and stitching.

With GTA6 shaping up to be one of the biggest launches in gaming history, this physical edition and collector's box are bound to move fast. Will you be picking one up, or are you going digital this time around?
