GTA 6 Might Feature Dexter's Apartment from the Hit TV Show

Ever wondered what it would be like to step into the world of your favorite TV show? Well, GTA 6 might just let you do that. Rockstar's upcoming title is set in Vice City, a clear stand-in for Miami, and eagle-eyed fans have spotted something familiar: Dexter Morgan's apartment from the hit show Dexter.

Yes, you read that right. The Bay Harbor Club condos, which served as the exterior for Dexter's Miami apartment in the series, appear to be in GTA 6. Twitter user @DrakoAfoa shared comparison images, and the resemblance is uncanny. It's a small detail, but it's got the community buzzing.

Now, this isn't just a random Easter egg. Some fans are already theorizing that Rockstar might go a step further. Could we see a character resembling Dexter Morgan wandering around Vice City? Or maybe a satirical take on the show? It's fun to speculate, but Rockstar's Rob Nelson told IGN that the developer is being "careful" about what it satirizes to avoid feeling dated. That's why they're skipping Trump and COVID-19 jokes entirely.

Still, the timing is interesting. GTA 6 drops on November 19, and by then, the second season of Dexter Resurrection will be airing. Coincidence? Maybe. But it's a nice nod for fans who've been following the show's revival.

Beyond the TV show reference, GTA 6 is shaping up to be massive. We've learned that the map is three times bigger than Red Dead Redemption 2's, and a full playthrough could take around 80 hours. Plus, six-star wanted levels are back, and yes, you can pet the dog. So there's plenty to look forward to.

Will you be keeping an eye out for Dexter's digs when you explore Vice City? Or are you more excited about the map size and the return of six-star wanted levels? Let us know in the comments!
