Ever wondered how long it takes to blast through Star Wars Galactic Racer? Well, it depends on your skills and how many tours you run. But generally, you can roll the credits in under 30 hours.
The game's runs-based structure means your mileage will vary. If you're a hotshot racer, you might finish each Act in just a few attempts, wrapping up the whole thing in under 20 hours. But if you hit a rough patch, you could be looking at 30 hours or more. Using the best speeder and smart tactics helps, but you still need to make good choices all the way to Derven Acos to advance.
So, how many Acts are there? Three. Act 1 takes you from Jakku to Lantaana to Ando Prime, then a qualifier at Derven Acos. Each planet except Derven Acos has four regular events, totaling 13 events per tour. Act 2 steps it up: Sentinel I, Jakku, Crait, Ando Prime, then the Galactic Gauntlet and final race at Derven Acos. That's 18 events per tour. Act 3 is the biggest: Lantaana, Sentinel I, Ando Prime, Jakku, Crait, then the Galactic Gauntlet and final race at Derven Acos. Each planet (except Derven Acos) has four regular events and ends with a Podracing Challenge, making 27 events per tour.
If you're a completionist, expect to spend more time. Unlocking and upgrading everything, like Galactic Racer Favors, adds several hours because some unlocks rely on random chance. Add in Scenarios, Arcade time trials, and multiplayer, and you're easily looking at 50+ hours. One player rolled credits at around 27 hours but kept playing for another 20 due to all the extras.
So, whether you're in it for the story or to unlock every last thing, Star Wars Galactic Racer has plenty to keep you busy. How long do you think it'll take you to beat it? Will you be going for 100% completion? Let us know in the comments!
