The first shard is tucked away in the ruins of Valtor's Keep, northwest of the main camp. You'll spot a collapsed tower that looks like a giant stepped on it—climb the rubble to the top, and the shard glints inside a broken chest. Watch out for the wraith patrol that spawns nearby; they're not fans of looters. Grab it and move fast.

Shard number two lies beneath the Whispering Marsh, in a sunken chapel that only appears when the moon is high. Head to the eastern edge of the marsh, find the gnarled tree with a hanged man's noose, and use a torch to burn the roots blocking the entrance. Inside, you'll face a puzzle with three pressure plates—step on them in the order shown by the faded murals on the wall. Solve it, and the shard rises from the altar.

The final shard is the trickiest. It's held by a mini-boss named Kael the Hollow, a former knight turned undead, patrolling the Bloodied Bridge in the northern highlands.
