Did you catch that new GTA 6 trailer? It's steamy, it's slick, and it confirms the November 19 release date. But here's something you might have missed: the game's soundtrack is being handled by none other than French electronic duo Justice.
If you're not familiar, Justice consists of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay. They blew up with their 2007 album Cross and have been dropping hits like Audio, Video, Disco (2011), Woman (2016), and Hyperdrama (2024) after a seven-year hiatus. They've racked up Grammy nominations and a ton of awards for their catchy mix of rock and disco. Now they're bringing that signature sound to the streets of Vice City.
But that's not all. A new Justice single called "Flower in a Hurricane" will be featured on Grand Theft Auto 6: The Album, the official soundtrack. And get this: the track also includes Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. So you know it's going to be a wild ride.
While Justice crafts the core musical sound of GTA 6, you'll also be free to flip through several radio stations and podcasts in the game. Like previous GTA entries, these cover a wide variety of genres, from outlaw country rock to reggae. Rockstar says these represent the "next evolution of in-game radio, and more," and you can listen to them while driving or on foot. So whether you're cruising down the highway or just walking around, the tunes will keep you company.
The developer also revealed more details about the GTA 6 album, which features 34 songs written specifically for the game. That includes new music from Keith Richards and Travis Scott. So it's not just a soundtrack; it's a full-blown musical event.
Grand Theft Auto 6 will launch for PS5 and Xbox Series X next month. A PC port hasn't been announced yet, but it might be coming sooner than you think. Either way, with Justice on board, the game is shaping up to be a feast for the ears as well as the eyes.
What do you think of Justice scoring GTA 6? Will you be picking up the album? Let us know in the comments!
