Star Wars: Galactic Racer's Biddy Blas: The Best Glup Shitto Ever?

Have you ever encountered a Star Wars character so wonderfully obnoxious that you can't help but love them? Meet Biddy Blas, the breakout star of Star Wars: Galactic Racer. This stout little alien with an alligator face and a sick racing helmet has taken the fandom by storm, with fans already crowning him "the best Glup Shitto ever."

For the uninitiated, "Glup Shitto" is affectionate fan slang for those obscure, weird, and wonderful background characters that populate the Star Wars galaxy—think Salacious B. Crumb, Sy Snootles, or Klaud. And Galactic Racer, with its podracing roots, is prime Glup Shitto territory. The game even brings back racing legend Ben Quadinaros, but it's the original character Biddy Blas who's stealing the spotlight.

So what makes Biddy so special? Well, he speaks Huttese in an incredibly obnoxious tone. You can't understand a word without subtitles, and you just know he's the worst. He'll even blow up your vehicle for fun if you let him. Yet there's something entrancing about him. As one Twitter user put it, "everyone meet Biddy Blas your new favourite Glup Shitto from Galactic Racer." Others are already calling him their all-time favorite, with one saying, "His voice is one of the greatest voices I've ever heard in a Star Wars thing," adding, "I have to imagine George Lucas would shed a tear faced with someone who perfectly understood his assignment for a change."

Biddy Blas is voiced by Richard Summers-Calvert, whose credits include 007 First Light and Total War: Warhammer 3, but he may be better known as British indie wrestler Charles Crowley. The character's greatness was foretold: at Gamescom 2026, Nathaniel Daw, narrative director at Fuse Games, told GamesRadar+ that Biddy is his favorite cast member, describing him as "a short, angry little alien who just gets really angry all the time. He's a bad loser and he's a worse winner." That perfectly matches the hero we see today.

And the game itself is no slouch. Star Wars: Galactic Racer's Metacritic score makes it one of the best-rated Star Wars games of all time, beating every Battlefront title. So if you're looking for a reason to jump in, Biddy Blas might just be it.
