Daniel Wu Joins Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, Premieres October 20

Get ready, chooms — Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is coming back, and it's bringing a major star with it.

CD PROJEKT RED announced today that actor Daniel Wu has officially joined the cast of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2. He'll be lending his voice to a character named Kirill Yang.

The studio shared the news with plenty of enthusiasm, writing: "Finally, you're here! We're thrilled to announce to everyone: Mr. Daniel Wu has officially joined Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, voicing the character Kirill Yang! Season 2 premieres on October 20 — please look forward to it!"

That's right — the wait has an end date. According to the announcement, the main episodes of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 will officially launch on October 20.

For those who remember the first season, that's a pretty big deal. The original Edgerunners hit hard with its neon-soaked Night City setting and its gut-punch of a story, so expectations for round two are already sky-high. Adding a name like Daniel Wu to the mix only cranks up the hype.
