Black Myth Store Gets a Big Makeover — and Zhong Kui Rides In

The Black Myth retail store is throwing itself a birthday party, and you're invited.

The official Black Myth brand account announced that the store has gotten a complete makeover to celebrate its upcoming first anniversary — and to thank fans for all the love. The whole space is now themed around Chapter 2 of Black Myth: Wukong, "Wind Rising, Dusk Falling," so expect a fresh vibe the next time you walk in.

But the real fun is the anniversary events, and there are two of them.

First up: "Try Your Luck" runs from September 14 to October 18. Spend 300 yuan or more in a single transaction at the physical store, show your same-day receipt, and you get a shot at the prize wheel. Every 300 yuan earns you one chance — and yes, you're guaranteed to win something. There's no cap on entries, so go wild. The prize pool is stacked: first prize is a limited-edition Stone Monkey 1/8 collectible bronze statue; second is a Yellow Wind Ridge Earth Shrine incense burner bronze ornament; third is a random pick from a set of mask collectibles — the Daoist Mian mask at 1/1, the Golden Body Angry Eyes mask at 1/2, or the Divine Treasure Walker's Ring at 1/1. Fourth prize is a lucky bag worth over 500 yuan, fifth is a 518ml medicinal gourd thermos, and everyone else walks away with a 10-yuan no-minimum coupon.

Then there's "Great Demons All Subdued," running October 1 to 7. During Golden Week, from 2 PM to 8 PM daily, you can hit the store for a Black Myth: Wukong boss speedrun challenge. Each day's champion takes home a 1/12 scale Zhu Bajie figure. The boss changes every day, so if you've got the skills, come prove it.

Also, to make things easier during the holiday rush, the Black Myth BLACKMYTH retail store will extend its daily hours to 10:30 AM–9 PM from October 1 to 7.
