Arc Raiders: Taking Stock Quest Guide

Stuck on the Taking Stock quest in Arc Raiders? You're not alone. This multi-stage mission sends you to Stella Montis, Spaceport, Dam Battlegrounds, and Buried City, all to help the Nomads back at Speranza. But don't worry—we've got you covered with a full walkthrough.

The quest has several stages that can be completed in any order. You need to take a photo of the sculpture in Stella Montis' Atrium, photograph a Baron Husk at Spaceport, ping either a Bombardier on Dam Battlegrounds or a Bastion on Buried City, and deliver three Industrial Batteries to the Nomadic Envoys. Remember to bring a Camera for the photo objectives—you can craft one in your workshop or buy one from traders in Speranza.

First up, the Atrium sculpture on Stella Montis. Head to the centre/east side of the map, right in the middle of the Atrium area. You'll see a large, symmetrical white shape dominating the room—it's hard to miss. Snap a photo from any angle to tick this objective off.

Next, the Baron Husk at Spaceport. There are three of these huge broken Arc Robots slumped over the exterior walls around the edge of the region. Check the map for their exact locations. Any angle will do for the photo.

For the ping objective, you'll need a bit of luck. Head to central Buried City, specifically around Marano Park, or the Parking Garage to the north. Both Bombardiers and Bastions have a high chance to spawn there, but it's not guaranteed—especially if someone else already killed them. Just ping and move on; no need to shoot.

Now, the tricky part: finding three Industrial Batteries. These rare items aren't guaranteed, but you can search car hoods anywhere, or specific spots like the Hydroponic Dome Complex on Dam Battlegrounds, Container Storage at Spaceport, or the Loading Bay on Stella Montis. Check the full list in our guide. Once you find one, put it in your safe pocket immediately and stash it in your Speranza storage until you have all three. You can't buy or craft them, so preserve every one you find.
