Arc Raiders: Ruined Homestead Photo Spot Found

Ever spent way too long squinting at the Arc Raiders map, trying to find a location that just won't show up? You're not alone. The ruined homestead for the Sheltered Retreat Outpost is one of those sneaky spots—it's technically easy to find, but it won't appear unless you zoom right into the map. So let's save you the headache.

First things first: you need to actually bring a camera in your loadout. No camera, no photo, no progress. Once you've got that sorted, head to the ruined homestead shown on the map. If you've ever hunted for fruit at the olive grove, you'll recognise the area—though usually the trees are the main attraction there, not the buildings.

The objective simply says 'take a photo of any farmland house.' For me, the one with the large hole in it did the trick. I'm assuming other houses nearby will also work, but if you're having trouble, just use that specific one—it definitely counts.

And that's pretty much it for this step. While you're in the area, you could knock out other tasks like the Home to Roost quest and explore the Blue Gate tunnels. Otherwise, just get out and head back to base.

Once you're home, you can complete this stage for an advanced camera blueprint and move on to the next step: gathering basic building materials. Not a bad reward for a quick photo op, right?
