Ever wondered if Discord would start selling ads? Or if Xbox might be up for sale? This week's MMO business roundup has you covered with those headlines and more.
First up, Discord is apparently getting into the ad game. The platform has long been a haven for gamers to chat and hang out, but now it looks like they're exploring ways to bring advertisements into the mix. That could mean big changes for how we use Discord, and not everyone is thrilled about it. We'll have to wait and see how it all shakes out.
In other news, a notorious GTA Online hacker has been arrested. You might remember the chaos they caused in Los Santos, but now they're facing real-world consequences. It's a reminder that even in the wild world of online games, the law can catch up with you.
And finally, there are rumors swirling that Xbox might be planning to put itself on the market. That's right—Microsoft's gaming division could potentially be up for sale. While it's just a rumor for now, it's got everyone talking about what that would mean for the future of Xbox and its games.
That's your roundup for this week. What do you think about Discord's ad plans? Will you be picking up an Xbox if it goes on sale? Let us know in the comments!
