Did you catch that new Zelda trailer? Nintendo just casually dropped two brand-new trailers for the Ocarina of Time remake, and they're packed with surprises.
The first trailer, a 30-second combat mashup, opens with a cinematic shot of Ganondorf playing an organ. It then cuts to Link, Navi, and the villain's face before diving into action-packed battles. But the real highlight? Around 16 seconds in, we get our first-ever look at Dark Link. Yep, the shadowy doppelgänger is finally here, and it's already got fans losing their minds.
The second trailer, also on Nintendo's Japanese YouTube channel, gives us more of Link, Zelda, and the ocarina itself. We see various locations, the Master Sword, and the remake's stunning visuals. It's a lot to take in, and the hype is real.
Over on X, fans are reacting with pure excitement. One thread dubbed the remake "peak," while others praised everything from Dark Link to Ganon's Castle. Some wondered why Nintendo didn't post these trailers on its international channels—a fair point. But my favorite reply sums it up perfectly: "Holy shit." Yeah, that about covers it.
The best part? We won't have to wait long to play it ourselves. The Ocarina of Time remake launches next month on November 5 for the Switch 2. That's less than a month away, which means you've got a couple of weeks to replay the original and brush up on those dungeons. Trust me, I'll be doing the same.
If you're as hyped as we are, check out our Ocarina of Time remake preview to see why we're loving it so far. What do you think of the new trailers? Will you be picking up the remake on day one? Let us know in the comments!
