A player recently shared some jaw-dropping footage of a heavily modded version of the game — running on an RTX 4090 at 1440p with DLAA and max settings — and honestly, it looks less like gameplay and more like a blockbuster movie. The clip shows off a bunch of visual and physics mods stacked together, and the result is absolutely wild.
So what's under the hood? The setup includes an enhanced version of the game, DLSS 5 with double rendering, Natural Vision Enhanced, and the Euphoria physics mod, plus tweaks for vehicle collision deformation and handling. With all of these running at once, the lighting, textures, character animations, and car damage all get a massive upgrade. The whole thing looks way closer to a cinematic CG trailer than the original game.
The star of the show here is definitely DLSS 5. Its AI-powered image reconstruction brings a whole new level of depth to buildings, roads, vehicles, and character details. Everything just pops with more clarity and realism. Meanwhile, Natural Vision Enhanced cranks up the weather, ambient lighting, and cityscape, making Los Santos feel eerily real — like you could step right into it.
And let's not forget the physics side. The Euphoria mod makes character movements and reactions feel more natural, while the vehicle deformation and handling changes mean every crash and high-speed chase looks and feels more intense. Put it all together, and you've got a version of GTA V that genuinely feels like a next-gen experience.
Of course, this kind of setup isn't for everyone — you'll need a beefy rig to run it smoothly. But it's a fun glimpse at what's possible when modders go all out. It also raises the bar for what we might expect from GTA 6, which is already one of the most anticipated games out there.
