Ready to expand your Gran Turismo 7 garage? Polyphony Digital has been pumping out updates like clockwork, and the next big one is almost here. Update 1.72, the first part of the massive Spec IV update, goes live on October 14th at 11 PM PDT. It's packed with new content, including six fresh vehicles and a brand-new circuit.

The new cars cover a wide range: the Honda Civic SI Group A Version 1987, Honda Step WGN Spada Premium Line 2023, Citroën 2CV 6 Charleston 1986, Ferrari F355 Berlinetta 1994, Mazda RX-Vision GT3 EVO 2026, and the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo. That's a mix of classic racers, modern family haulers, and futuristic concepts—something for every kind of gearhead.

But wait, there's more. The SUGO International Racing Course joins the track list, giving you a new place to test your skills. And that's not all: a new opening cinematic sets the mood, Car Concierge lets you order Used and Legend cars, and the new Experience mode offers brand-specific challenges. Perhaps the most exciting addition is Car Viewer, which finally lets you head to the garage and admire your entire fleet up close.

And this is just Part 1. In December, Part 2 arrives with the Autumn Ring circuit, six more new vehicles, the new Family mode, a new difficulty for Power Pack owners, Shuffle Race for random vehicle racing, and Online Drift Trial for competing against others online. Polyphony Digital is clearly committed to keeping the game fresh for a long time.

So mark your calendars for October 14th at 11 PM PDT. With so much new content, you'll want to dive in right away. Stay tuned for more details on next week's update when it goes live. What new car are you most excited to drive? Let us know in the comments!
