Wuthering Waves 3.7: Xin Build Guide & Pull Advice

Wuthering Waves just dropped its 3.7 update, and with it comes Xin—the guide of the Dreamzhou civilization and a brand-new 5-star Conducto attacker. If you're wondering whether she's worth your pulls or how to get the most out of her, you're in the right place.

Xin is special because she has two distinct modes: Electromagnetic and Unison. In Unison mode, she can rapidly fire off multiple Variation skills and boost team damage when paired with Unison-focused allies. In Electromagnetic mode, she converts Electromagnetic Burst into a "Thunderheart Domain" and deals Electromagnetic Effect damage through her Resonance Skill. Oh, and she can turn into a fox while exploring the overworld—no combat triggered, plus she regens HP. Adorable and practical.

For skills, prioritize Resonance Circuit > Resonance Liberation > Variation Skill = Resonance Skill = Basic Attack. Weapon-wise, her signature 5-star is the top pick, followed by other 5-star options. The signature weapon is a pure damage beast with resistance ignore and attribute damage amplification—rare effects that also ease your Echo stat requirements. With the weapon banner's 100% guarantee, it's a solid investment, especially since it works across both modes. If you're choosing between dupes and the weapon, go for the weapon first.

Echo setup: use the "Dreamwarden's Heart" set with a 4-3-3-1-1 configuration. Main stats: Crit Rate/DMG on 4-cost, Conducto DMG or ATK on 3-cost, and ATK on 1-cost. For substats, prioritize Crit Rate/DMG, then ATK% and Resonance Skill DMG. Aim for at least 125% Energy Regen. Team comps: for Electromagnetic mode, pair her with Conducto Rover and Suisui. For Unison mode, bring Jinhsi and Shorekeeper (or Verina).

Her combat rotations are simpler than they look. In Electromagnetic mode, you're building energy with attacks to unleash an enhanced heavy attack, which unlocks her Resonance Liberation transformation. The enhanced heavy attack has interrupt immunity, so you won't get stopped. In Unison mode, she and Jinhsi can swap in and out, consuming Concerto energy to instantly refill each other's—great for chaining buffs. If your Jinhsi is highly invested, you can even let Xin take the field first and swap to Jinhsi for bigger gains.

As for Resonance Chains, Chain 1 is mostly for comfort, Chain 2 boosts damage by about 17% and improves overworld QoL, Chain 3 is a core 30% damage spike, Chains 4 and 5 are minor, and Chain 6 is a massive 60% personal damage increase that makes Electromagnetic Effect damage crit. For pulling advice: new players should absolutely grab her if they lack a main DPS—she forms a strong team quickly with Conducto Rover and Shorekeeper/Verina. Veterans chasing meta shouldn't skip her either, as she's on par with other top-tier 5-stars. Low spenders should aim for her signature weapon first (0+1), while those wanting her as a long-term main can target 2-3 dupes plus weapon. Whales can go for 6+1 for the full experience.

So, will you be pulling for Xin? Let us know in the comments!
