Ever felt like your Arc Raiders hideout is just too cramped? Well, get ready to stretch out, because the Frozen Trails update is bringing a major upgrade: the Outpost. This new home base is set to give you way more space to customize and make your own.
According to an official blog post, Celeste is offering Raiders a home away from home. "Nestled between the Rust Belt and the perilous mountain range, the Outpost is the first step to reclaiming parts of the surface," the post explains. So it's not just a base—it's a statement.
Until now, you've only had one tiny room to call your own, with limited customization options. You know the struggle: you can only fit so many ducks inside. But the Outpost changes all that. You'll be able to customize your new base with different modules, furniture, and other interior changes. It's a decorator's dream.
But the Outpost isn't just about looks. The new modules will also be useful for weapon amplification, which gives your gear unique abilities like flammable ammo or rapid-fire. That'll come in handy on the new map, Pendola Pass, which is set to be the most punishing area to date.
Honestly, though, the endgame benefits are just icing on the cake. These modules can also be built down in Speranza, so you're not missing out if you prefer the underground life. The real excitement is finally having more space and a real chance to customize your base. And according to Embark, this is just the beginning: "The Outpost is the start of a feature we hope to develop much further, eventually giving players a deeply personal space that allows them to become the Raider they want to be."
That's a pretty good incentive to jump back into Arc Raiders, right? With the Frozen Trails update, it feels like the game is finally giving players the creative freedom they've been craving. Plus, new weapons, gadgets, and arcs are also on the way, making this update one of the biggest yet.
So, what do you think? Are you ready to build your dream Outpost and take on Pendola Pass? Let us know in the comments!
