Arc Raiders Free Trial: 4 Days of Full Access This October

Ever wanted to see what all the fuss is about in Arc Raiders without dropping any cash? Well, you're in luck. Embark Studios is giving everyone a four-day free trial of the full game to celebrate the launch of its biggest update yet, Frozen Trail.

The trial runs from October 8 to October 12 and is available on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox. According to the official Arc Raiders website, you'll get "access to the full ARC Raiders game"—that means you can dive straight into the core PvPvE extraction mode and experience the new Frozen Trail content right alongside regular players. Not bad for a free weekend, right?

So what's in Frozen Trail? The headline addition is the new Pendola Pass map, which drops you into a snowy, mountainous region of Italy under the shadow of a fallen "Emperor" Arc Robot. The frozen Italian village includes an abandoned supermarket and a town square, with a big focus on verticality. There's also a "Flash Freeze" sequence that forces players to seek shelter unexpectedly—so keep an eye on the weather.

If you're a new player, you can jump into Pendola Pass immediately as long as you're teamed up with someone who's already unlocked the map. The update also brings four new enemies—the Frigate, Bully, Skulker, and Hydra—plus the Stiletto battle rifle and Bantam revolver. You'll also get new gadgets like the grappling hook, Tether Launcher, and Yank Grenade, and two new instruments: the banjo and harmonica. Because why fight for survival without a little music?

That's not all. Frozen Trail also introduces a new weapons modification system, a transmog feature for weapons, customizable player bases, skill tree additions, a new handheld camera option, new quests, new trials, and both free and premium battle passes. It's a massive content drop, and the free trial is the perfect excuse to check it out.

Oh, and one more thing: Embark is getting serious about cheaters. The studio promises stricter bans with "No warnings, no second chances." So play fair, folks.

Will you be jumping into the free trial? Let us know in the comments!
