Xiaotuantuan Returns to PUBG, Gets Asked: Where Were You?

Streamer Xiaotuantuan is back on PUBG, and her return didn't exactly go unnoticed.

After a long break from the battle royale, she fired up the game again recently—only to run straight into a very unexpected "reunion" segment. Word had gotten out among her fans that she was playing PUBG again, so viewers deliberately queued up to try and land in her matches. By the final circle, the lobby was practically packed with familiar faces, and the stream chat was buzzing.

But the real highlight came during one match. A viewer recognized her immediately—and instead of a friendly hello, they went straight for the jugular: "Where have you been for the past two years?"

Xiaotuantuan didn't dodge the question. She explained that she hadn't been completely inactive during her time away. Her main account simply stopped posting updates, but she did use a secondary account and even appeared on other streaming platforms. The problem was that her visibility was low at the time, so a lot of viewers never saw what she was up to.

She also admitted that this question comes up often from netizens, but she rarely brought it up herself. It wasn't an easy period for her, and constantly revisiting it didn't feel great. Still, she doesn't think it makes sense to pretend nothing ever happened—especially since the platform environment at the time really did have some serious issues.

For fans who've been waiting, it's a candid response to a question that's clearly been on everyone's mind. And judging by the water friends crashing her lobbies, plenty of people are just happy to see her back in the game.
