Gran Turismo 30th Anniversary DualSense Controller Revealed

Ready to race with a controller that looks like it belongs on a podium? PlayStation has just revealed a limited-edition DualSense wireless controller celebrating 30 years of Gran Turismo, and it's coming worldwide on December 10.

The design is pure motorsport. According to PlayStation, the controller is inspired by the craftsmanship and engineering at the heart of Gran Turismo, paying tribute to 30 years of the "real driving simulator." You'll find racing stripes and motorsport-style graphics, plus a front mounting plate with a carbon fiber texture that brings car design and performance elements right into your hands.

But the anniversary celebration doesn't stop at the controller. All players will receive the Gran Turismo 7 Spec IV Part 1 update, which includes the Sportsland Sugo track, six new cars, fresh events, new Scapes locations, and gameplay features.

The new rides are: the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo, Ferrari F355 Berlinetta '94, Honda Civic Si Group A version '87, Mazda RX-Vision GT3 Evo '26, Honda Step WGN Spada Premium Line '23, and Citroën 2 CV 6 Charleston '86. That's a wild mix of modern concepts, classic racers, and everyday cars—something for every kind of gearhead.

So whether you're a collector who wants that special controller on your shelf or a Gran Turismo 7 regular hungry for new content, December 10 is a date to circle. The limited-edition DualSense will be available globally, though no price or pre-order details were announced yet.

What do you think of the racing-striped design? Will you be picking up the controller, the update, or both? Let us know in the comments!
