Ever wondered what it would be like to explore a map so big it makes Red Dead Redemption 2 look like a backyard? Well, GTA 6 is about to blow your mind. Rockstar just dropped some juicy details, and the scale is absolutely massive.

According to a New York Times report featuring interviews with the devs, the GTA 6 map is three times the size of RDR2's playable area. That's not just a little bump—it's a whole new level of exploration. And you'll be doing it in Vice City and the surrounding areas, which means sun, sand, and probably some serious chaos.

But size isn't everything, right? Well, Rockstar's attention to detail is next-level. The game has well over 600,000 animations. To put that in perspective, GTA 5 had 55,000, and RDR2 had 300,000. That's a massive jump, and it shows in every corner of the world.

Rockstar North boss Aaron Garbut gave us a peek into their philosophy: "Every room in the game, somebody thought about this. Who's sitting where, what they're drinking, the marks that are left on the table. The pictures on the wall will have the people that are in that room, with their tattoos on their arms and their family behind them. That whole thing has been made, and built, and photographed, and placed in this random room in a random building in a huge city, in a world."

If that doesn't get you hyped, check this out: a full playthrough of the main story can take up to 80 hours. Plus, the game is bringing back the six-star wanted levels, and yes, you can pet the dog. It's the little things, right?

GTA 6 launches on November 19 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. With a map this huge and animations this detailed, it's shaping up to be the ultimate sandbox. Will you be picking this up on day one? Let us know what you think!
