Raccoon Chaos: Dumpster Gang Demo Out Now, Launches Dec 4

Ever wondered what it feels like to be the trash panda causing all that midnight chaos? Dumpster Gang is here to answer that question. Developed by Coyote House Games, this multiplayer raccoon sandbox just released a free demo on Steam, and it's set to launch on December 4.

The setup is simple and delightfully chaotic. You and up to three friends play as four lawless raccoons sneaking into human homes under cover of darkness. Raid the trash, smash the furniture, and haul off anything that isn't nailed down. Every item in the house is fair game, and your goal is to drag your loot all the way back to your underground lair connected to the yard.

But it's not just a freeform break-in sandbox. The game mixes in mission-based level design, so while you're swiping valuables, you also need to pull off pranks that will send homeowners' blood pressure through the roof. Think tipping over trash cans to make a mess or clogging the toilet for maximum chaos. Complete all your mischief objectives and make it back to the nest safely, and you've truly cleared the level.

Don't expect a relaxing heist, though. Even when the homeowner is away, pest control enforcers patrol the area. Make too much noise or get spotted, and they'll come after you hard. You can run for it, grab nearby objects and chuck them as projectiles, or even swing a bat and fight back head-on. Get caught, and you'll need to rescue your teammates from cages, or risk the whole crew going down together.

Your nest doubles as a secret base, too. There you can unlock decorations, customize your raccoon's look, and equip hats that grant unique abilities. It gives you something to work toward between all the breaking and entering.

The Dumpster Gang demo is live on Steam right now, supporting English and Simplified Chinese among other languages. You can download it free to try or add the game to your wishlist ahead of the December 4 launch. Will you be rounding up your crew for some raccoon mischief?
