The Wolf Among Us Remastered Switch Release Delayed

Were you planning to dive into Fabletown on your Switch next week? Bad news: The Wolf Among Us Remastered won't hit Nintendo's console on October 29 as originally planned. Telltale Games has announced that the Switch version has been delayed "to a later date."

The reason? The Switch version didn't meet internal standards, so the team is holding it back to ensure it delivers the intended experience. In other words, they want to get it right rather than rush it out. It's a bummer, but a polished game is always worth the wait.

Meanwhile, the other platforms are still on track. The Wolf Among Us Remastered launches later this month on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, and PC. So if you own any of those, you can still return to the gritty fairy-tale world on schedule.

For Switch owners, the wait might sting a little more. Watching everyone else dive back into one of Telltale's most memorable adventures—or experience it for the first time with new additions—won't be easy. But hey, you can always rewatch that nostalgia-filled trailer featuring the cast and dev team to tide you over.

And there's more to look forward to: Telltale is also working on the long-awaited sequel, The Wolf Among Us 2, which could finally launch in 2027 after years of delays. So the future of Bigby's story is still bright.

Will you be picking up the remaster on another platform, or are you waiting for the Switch version? Let us know in the comments!
