Ready for a new chapter in DC Universe Online? The superheroic MMORPG is gearing up for its next update, Wrath of the Worldkillers, and it lands on Tuesday, October 6th.
We already knew something was coming thanks to an event that wrapped up the current story chapter, but now we've got a bit more context. The update brings a brand-new story arc and a new ally to the mix.
The teaser line says it all: "Titans Bay has gone dark." That's the setup for whatever fresh trouble is brewing in the DCUO universe. If you've been following along, you know that when a location goes dark, it usually means heroes are needed pronto.
This update follows the conclusion of the current storyline, so it's a clean jumping-on point for anyone who's been waiting to dive back in. Whether you're a longtime player or returning after a break, October 6th is the date to circle on your calendar.
We don't have all the details yet on what the new ally brings to the table or exactly how the story arc unfolds, but the fact that Titans Bay is involved suggests some serious stakes. Fans of the Titans or anyone who's been craving more narrative content should keep an eye out for more info as we get closer to launch.
For now, mark your calendars and get your characters ready. Wrath of the Worldkillers is coming to DC Universe Online on October 6th. What do you think the new ally will bring to the fight? Will you be jumping in on day one? Let us know in the comments!
