Tokyo Game Show 2026 is shaping up to be a big one, and Sony just dropped the full rundown of what PlayStation fans can expect at its booth.
The show runs from September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, and Sony's planning a mix of playable demos, live streams, and free goodies. If you're heading there, here's what you need to know.
First up, PlayStation Plus members get early dibs on demo reservations. Booking opens from September 10 to 16, and it's first come, first served, so you'll want to move fast. The playable lineup includes some heavy hitters: Monster Hunter Wilds, Marvel's Wolverine, and Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, among other new titles.
But the real headliner might be the GTA 6 viewing area. Sony's setting up a massive 300-inch screen to show off an extended trailer for the game, paired with floor haptic feedback tech to make the whole thing feel way more immersive. If you show up, you can also snag a limited-edition GTA 6-themed PlayStation T-shirt just for being there.
There's more free stuff too. Post your thoughts on the new games on social media with the hashtag #PS5, and you can pick up a set of three stickers. It's one set per person and supplies are limited, so don't sleep on it.
On the broadcast side, Sony's running multiple livestreams from a dedicated creator area. Popular streamers will be on hand to take on various new titles live, and you can watch it all go down on the official PlayStation YouTube channel.
With GTA 6, Wolverine, and Monster Hunter Wilds all in one place, this could be one of the most stacked TGS booths in years. Whether you're there in person or watching from home, there's plenty to look forward to.
