Did you catch the new GTA 6 launch trailer yet? If not, you're in for a treat. Rockstar just dropped it, and while we can't play the game until it launches on consoles on November 19, watching the trailer is the next best thing.
This trailer feels a bit more restrained than what we've seen before—or maybe more focused is the better word. There's a bigger emphasis on character and narrative this time around, rather than the pure chaos of previous GTA games or even the earlier GTA 6 trailers. It's got a cinematic flair that almost makes you feel like you're settling in for a season-ending two-parter of a Michael Mann series from a decade ago.
So what's the story? The official synopsis sets the stage: "Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive." Sounds intense, right?
The music choice is also interesting. Instead of licensed tracks like Tom Petty's "Love is a Long Road" in the first trailer or The Pointer Sisters' "Hot Together" in the second, this one features a new track from Justice, the electronic duo who composed the GTA 6 score. If you dig it, the full version is out there—and it's pretty good!
As for the PC version, we still don't have a release date or even an official announcement. But come on, it's GTA—a PC port is inevitable. A recent rumor suggested it might arrive in early 2027, just a few months after the console debut, but I'm not buying it. We'll just have to wait and see.
In the meantime, if you're hungry for more GTA 6 info, we've got you covered with guides on everything we know, the garage lineup, the anti-hero cast, confirmed Vice City locales, and the PC release situation. So what do you think of the new trailer? Are you hyped for November 19? Let us know in the comments!
