Guess what? Someone's already gotten their hands on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remaster, and it's not even out yet. Overseas content creator Synth Potato revealed that CD Projekt Red invited him for an early look at the upcoming remaster.
In a recent post, Synth Potato said he was thrilled to get early access and thanked CDPR for the opportunity. He also promised to share more details about the remastered content with players soon. So keep an eye out — there's more info coming.
He also mentioned that he chose to play the PC version specifically to experience the game's ray tracing path tracing effects firsthand. For those who love shiny visuals, that's a big deal.
Now, about file sizes: the remaster will take up roughly 45GB on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox. On Steam, the actual size may vary depending on which language packs you install. Meanwhile, the Nintendo Switch 2 version is a separate product and will require about 50GB of space.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remaster is set to launch on September 29 at 18:00 Beijing time. That's just around the corner, so clear some space on your drive.
Platforms confirmed so far include PC, PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S. Whether you're a veteran witcher or a newcomer, this remaster looks like a great excuse to dive back into Geralt's world.
