Did you just start a new save in Los Santos or the Wild West? You might want to speed things up. GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 are both leaving the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog soon, along with nine other games.
Sony hasn't given an exact date, but these 11 titles will be removed over the next couple of weeks. That means your window to play them through PS Plus is closing fast. If you've been putting off a replay of Arthur Morgan's story or one more heist in GTA Online, now's the time to jump in.
We already knew GTA 5 was on its way out, but seeing Red Dead Redemption 2 join the list stings a little more. It's hard not to notice the timing: Rockstar and Take-Two are clearly clearing the decks before GTA 6 launches on November 19. No distractions, right?
The good news? Both games have been in and out of the catalog before. GTA 5 rotated back in November 2025, and Red Dead Redemption 2 returned to PS Plus Extra and Premium in May. So there's a decent chance they'll come back at some point. But if you want to play them now without buying them, don't wait.
Beyond the Rockstar duo, there are a few other gems worth checking out before they go. The Talos Principle 2 is a head-scratcher of an adventure that's perfect if you want to test your brain while pondering existential crises. And Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break mixes tower defense with quirky animations—if you like Monty Python-style humor, this one's for you.
Here's the full list of everything leaving soon: Cricket 24: International Edition, Earth Defense 4: The Shadow of New Despair, Football Manager 26, Grand Theft Auto 5, Hotshot Racing: Big Boss Bundle, Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, Rapala Fishing: Pro Series, Red Dead Redemption 2, Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break, The Talos Principle 2, and Yet Another Zombie Defense HD.
Also, a quick reminder: all PS Plus subscribers can still grab three freebies right now—F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2—but you need to claim them before November 2.
So, are you going to squeeze in one last ride with Arthur or one more GTA heist before they disappear? What do you think—will you be picking them up before they leave?
