Ever dreamed of surviving in a world ripped straight from The Stormlight Archive? Well, you won't have to wait much longer. Stormforge, the multiplayer survival sandbox from developer Roboto Games, has just locked in its early access release date: November 10.
We've been keeping tabs on this one since 2024, and it's easy to see why. Stormforge wears its influences proudly—it's heavily inspired by Dungeons & Dragons in general and Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archive in specific. If you're a fan of either, this is one to watch.
For the uninitiated, Stormforge is a survivalbox through and through. You'll gather resources, build bases, and fend off whatever the world throws at you, all while exploring a realm that feels like it was pulled from the pages of a fantasy epic. The D&D DNA means you can expect plenty of role-playing flavor and emergent storytelling, while the Stormlight Archive inspiration likely means highstorms, spren, and maybe even a few Shardblades if you're lucky.
We actually got hands-on with a demo back in August, and it left us eager for more. The early access launch will give players a chance to dive in and help shape the game's future. As with any early access title, expect rough edges and regular updates—but that's part of the fun, right?
So mark your calendars: November 10 is the day Stormforge opens its gates. Whether you're a D&D diehard, a Sanderson superfan, or just someone who loves a good survival sandbox, this one's worth keeping on your radar.
