Ever wondered how Control Resonant holds up on PS5 Pro and a beefy PC? Remedy has taken the action outside the Oldest House this time around, and we're quite happy to say that it's good news for the most part.
So, what's the deal? The studio behind the original Control is back with a sequel that swaps the confined corridors of the Federal Bureau of Control for something much more open. And according to early impressions, that change of scenery looks pretty darn good on Sony's upgraded console and on high-end PCs.
We don't have all the technical nitty-gritty just yet, but the vibe is clear: Remedy's signature art direction and weird sci-fi aesthetic are shining through. The move outside the Oldest House seems to have given the team more room to play with lighting, effects, and scale—and the results are turning heads.
Of course, 'good news for the most part' means there might be a few rough edges, but overall, it sounds like both PS5 Pro and PC owners have something to look forward to. If you were worried that the sequel might lose its visual mojo, it looks like you can relax.
We'll keep our eyes peeled for more details as they drop, but for now, it's safe to say that Control Resonant is shaping up to be a looker. Whether you're team console or team PC, you're probably in for a treat.
