Spider-Man Swings Into Arkham Knight With Wild New Mod

Ever wondered what it'd be like if Spider-Man swung through Gotham City? Well, a modder just made that fever dream a reality—and the method is absolutely wild.

A new PC mod called ArkWeb lets you web-swing through Batman: Arkham Knight’s Gotham as Spider-Man. But here’s the twist: it doesn’t just replace Batman’s model. Instead, it runs both Arkham Knight and a Spider-Man game at the same time, syncing them up so you control Spidey in Gotham.

We don’t know exactly which Spider-Man game is being used, but the result is clear—you get to swing between Gotham’s towering buildings, using Spidey’s web-slinging moves in a city built for the Dark Knight. It’s a bizarre but brilliant mashup that only PC modding could deliver.

Arkham Knight already has a rich modding scene, but this takes things to a whole new level. Running two games simultaneously is a technical feat, and it opens up all sorts of possibilities for crossover chaos. Imagine the possibilities—maybe next someone will put Batman in New York?

For now, ArkWeb is a proof of concept that’s already turning heads. It’s not clear if it’ll be released publicly or how stable it is, but the sheer ambition is worth celebrating. Modders continue to push boundaries, and we’re here for it.

So, what do you think? Would you play a full Spider-Man game set in Gotham? Let us know in the comments!
