Did you ever think you'd be debating the physics of a naked GTA 6 protagonist? Well, here we are. After a preview from IGN confirmed that Jason appears fully unclothed in a shower scene, the internet has done what it does best: make memes and ask way too many questions.
The scene was shown to demonstrate how you can flip between Jason and Lucia at will to see different perspectives of the same moment. Naturally, people latched onto the fact that Jason was in his birthday suit. IGN later clarified that they hadn't seen anything more risqué than his torso, and the camera work kept things safe for work. I mean, it was a professional preview event—what did you expect?
But that hasn't stopped fans from wondering if Rockstar will reuse a certain piece of tech from Red Dead Redemption 2. You know the one: the horse ball physics. "I wonder if Jason's balls shrink when the water is cold like the RDR2 horse balls," tweeted GTA GFX. A Redditor added, "Those horse balls physics gotta go somewhere." And another account joked, "Rockstar really said, 'If we're building the most immersive open world ever, we're committing to everything.'"
Being with characters during truly intimate moments like this is pretty immersive. Another leak apparently contains a significant amount of fully nude Jason, but there's no guarantee that'll make it into the released game. So don't get your hopes up too high.
There are plenty of jokes about what we'll see below Jason's waistline, but I'd have to agree with others—full-frontal is probably unlikely for either hero. It's rare enough in film and television, and the certification headaches would be enormous. That doesn't mean it definitively won't happen, but I wouldn't expect it, or at least not much of it.
We'll find out for real in just over one month. In other GTA 6 news, radio stations have been revealed, and Rockstar says that for the first time in Grand Theft Auto history, there will be in-game podcasts. So at least we'll have something to listen to while we ponder Jason's shower habits.
What do you think—will Rockstar go full RDR2 with Jason's physics, or is this all just wishful thinking? Let us know in the comments.
