Ever pre-registered for a game just because the trailer looked too good to pass up? You're definitely not alone. Elementa Games' upcoming open-world action RPG Silver Palace has just sailed past 10 million global pre-registrations, and it's not even out yet.
The milestone comes hot on the heels of the game's recent "Dichotomy" beta test, which clearly got players talking. Hitting eight figures before launch is a big deal for any new IP, and it signals serious momentum as the studio gears up for a busy convention season.
So what's the hype about? Silver Palace is built in Unreal Engine 5 and is currently in development for PC and mobile. It mixes open-world exploration and fantasy combat with something you don't see every day: a detective story. The whole thing unfolds in Silvernia, a city inspired by the Victorian era. Think cobblestone streets, mystery, and probably a few shady characters you'll need to interrogate between sword swings.
That genre blend is likely a big part of why so many people are smashing the pre-register button. Open-world RPGs are everywhere, but layering in a detective narrative gives Silver Palace a hook that stands out from the usual fantasy fare. And with Unreal Engine 5 behind it, expect some seriously pretty visuals on both PC and mobile.
If you're heading to gamescom or Anime NYC, keep an eye out, because Elementa Games is bringing Silver Palace to both events. Convention appearances are a great chance to see the game in action, and for a title that's already pulling in this many pre-registrations, the crowds will probably be curious.
There's no release date yet, but with 10 million pre-registrations locked in and a beta already under its belt, Silver Palace is shaping up to be one of the more intriguing RPGs on the horizon. Whether you're here for the fantasy combat, the detective mysteries, or just want to explore a Victorian-inspired city, there's a lot to look forward to.
What do you think? Will you be pre-registering for Silver Palace, or are you waiting to see more gameplay first? Let us know!
