Destined Rivals ETB Back at Amazon for Prime Day

Have you been hunting for the elusive Destined Rivals Elite Trainer Box? Your patience might finally pay off. Amazon just restocked a bunch of rare Pokémon TCG sets for Prime Day, and the Destined Rivals ETB is one of the standout finds.

Right now, you can grab it for $124.55, sold and shipped directly by Amazon. That's a big deal because these boxes haven't been regularly available from the retail giant for a month or two. Yes, it's still well above the original MSRP, but that's just the reality of the Pokémon TCG market today.

If you're willing to pay the premium, Amazon is actually one of the better places to snag one. Over on TCGplayer, the median listing price is around $150, with the current market price just under $120. Once you add delivery costs, Amazon's $124.55 starts looking pretty reasonable—especially since it's coming straight from Amazon, not a third-party seller.

So what's inside the box? You get 9 booster packs from the Scarlet & Violet—Destined Rivals expansion, 65 card sleeves, 45 Energy cards, a player's guide, 6 damage-counter dice, 1 competition-legal coin-flip die, 2 plastic condition markers, and a collector's box with 4 dividers. It's a solid haul for collectors and players alike.

It's been over a year since Destined Rivals launched, yet it remains one of the hardest sets to find at a fair price. The chase card, Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex (231/182), is still fetching around $450-$500 on TCGplayer. That alone shows how hot this set is.

The fact that Amazon is both selling and shipping this product is worth highlighting—too many Pokémon TCG listings on Amazon are actually fulfilled by third-party sellers. Whether the current price is worth it is up to you. Market price simply reflects what buyers are willing to spend, not some definitive value. But with products regularly selling out at MSRP, market price is often what collectors have to contend with.

Destined Rivals isn't the only Pokémon TCG product making a comeback during the Prime sale. The First Partner Illustration Series 3 set has also returned, alongside Phantasmal Flames Booster Bundles for $89.99. Surging Sparks boosters are available for $18, with several other products back in stock at around market price or lower.

If you've been waiting for a restock, this is probably one worth considering while stock lasts. These don't tend to hang around for long when they appear at major retailers. Will you be picking one up, or are you holding out for a better price? Let us know in the comments!
