Ready to storm Castle Doom? Publisher Dotemu has just teased a big new expansion for Marvel Cosmic Invasion, and it's bringing one of Marvel's most iconic villains into the fray.
The expansion is called Marvel Cosmic Invasion: The Siege of Castle Doom, and it's set to launch later in 2026. It's a premium add-on, so you'll likely need to shell out some extra cash to get your hands on it.
So what's inside? The DLC introduces a brand new game mode that puts Doctor Doom front and center. You'll be dealing with the notorious Fantastic Four villain in a fresh way, though Dotemu is staying tight-lipped on exactly how it all plays out.
That's not all, either. The Siege of Castle Doom also adds two additional playable characters to the roster. We don't know who they are just yet—Dotemu is keeping that under wraps for now. But if you're a fan of the base game, more fighters is always a good thing.
Doctor Doom making his grand entrance in Marvel Cosmic Invasion makes a lot of sense. He's one of the biggest bads in the Marvel universe, and a castle siege theme fits him perfectly. Expect plenty of drama, danger, and probably a few diabolical traps.
