Save $11 on GTA 6 Preorders Today Only

Are you still on the fence about preordering Grand Theft Auto 6? With less than a month to go before launch, here's a deal that might tip the scales: you can save $11 on a PS5 copy or $10 on an Xbox copy, today only.

The trick is simple: buy a discounted digital gift card from Newegg, then use it to preorder GTA 6. For PS5, grab a $100 PlayStation Store gift card for $89 with promo code GTWF822. For Xbox, get a $100 Xbox gift card for $90 with promo code GTWF792. Just make sure you enter those codes at checkout, or you'll miss the discount.

After you buy, Newegg will email you a redeemable code. Head to the PlayStation Store or Xbox Store, sign in, click your avatar, and select "Redeem Code" from the dropdown menu. Paste your code, hit enter, and you'll have $100 in your digital wallet.

Now you're ready to preorder GTA 6. The standard edition costs $79.99 and includes the game, the Vintage Vice City Pack, and one month of GTA+. The ultimate edition costs $99.99 and adds an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and action threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia's story. Early reports suggest the ultimate edition is outselling the standard one, which makes sense since early preorders tend to come from the biggest fans.

If you miss this deal, don't worry too much. Newegg has been running similar one-day gift card discounts roughly every week or two, so you'll likely get another shot before launch. And if you do preorder, you can preload the game starting November 12, a week before release, so you'll be ready to jump in as soon as it goes live.

One thing to keep in mind: at launch, you'll only have access to the GTA 6 campaign. Rockstar hasn't announced when GTA Online will be available yet, so stay tuned for more info on that front.
