Delta Force's Massive Tsunami Stuns Overseas Players: "Battlefield Couldn't Do This"

A giant tsunami just wiped out an entire city in Delta Force, and the internet can't stop talking about it.

On the new large-scale battlefield map "Skyline," a massive wall of water crashes through the city, tearing down buildings, sweeping away vehicles, and swallowing players mid-firefight. The clip made its way overseas fast, and reactions exploded almost immediately.

Overseas players are roughly split into three camps. The blown-away crowd thinks this is something the Battlefield series never managed to pull off. One player pointed straight at the competition: "BF2042's tornado just passes through—this is a tsunami that actually destroys the whole map."

Then there's the skeptical side, raising a fair question: if the tsunami wipes out every player and every building, what's the point of the match? Others worry that a flooded map might turn into a boring slog in later rounds once the spectacle wears off.

And of course, the comparison camp aimed their fire at Battlefield 6, saying flat-out: "This is what Battlefield should be doing, but DICE can't."
