Want to catch the new Resident Evil movie without breaking the bank? If you're a T-Mobile subscriber, you're in luck โ you can grab a ticket for just $5.
That's right, T-Mobile members in the US can score a discounted ticket to the horror flick through Atom Tickets. According to Wario64, subscribers just need to head to the T-Life app on September 15 to snag the deal. That's three days before the movie hits theaters on September 18, but early screenings on Thursday night, September 17, are also happening.
So, what's the movie all about? Directed by Zach Cregger, who brought you Weapons and Barbarian, this Resident Evil reboot stars Austin Abrams as Bryan, a medical courier who's a bit of an "idiot." He takes a job that leads him to Raccoon City, where all hell breaks loose โ think The Lord of the Rings, but with zombies and corporate conspiracies.
The buzz is real, and the movie is expected to have a record-breaking debut at the box office. Though, let's be honest, that's not saying much given the previous Resident Evil flicks didn't exactly set the world on fire. But with Cregger at the helm, fans are cautiously optimistic.
Cregger is also coming off the biggest movie of his career with Weapons, and he's already planning a spin-off focused on Aunt Gladys. So, if this new Resident Evil is a hit, we might be seeing more from this universe soon.
Will you be taking advantage of this T-Mobile deal? Or are you planning to see Resident Evil anyway? Let us know in the comments!
