Ever wondered what happens when you throw an AI VTuber, her evil twin, their creator, a cow, an imp, and a monkey into a car and tell them to drive 5,000km across a post-apocalyptic desert? Welcome to the madness that is Vedal987's latest marathon stream.
On October 12, Vedal, Neuro-Sama, Evil, KokoNuts, Camila, and Crelly embarked on an epic road trip in The Long Drive. Each streams their own POV, with Vedal's channel bouncing between Neuro, Evil, and himself. The goal? Survive a procedurally generated desert where you scavenge for supplies, fix your car, and pray the physics don't kill you.
The destination is about 5,000km away—and it takes as long as it would in real life. While the game's lore says you're heading to the protagonist's mother's house, Neuro and Evil prefer to imagine Disneyland. But getting there is a comedy of errors. The game's unpredictable physics turn every drive into slapstick.
Remember Neuro's Minecraft Hardcore marathon where she ticked off every way to die? She's back at it. Camila was the first casualty, getting tangled with the car and succumbing to her injuries. Then Evil died when Camila accidentally dropped a truck on her head. Vedal got stuck in a well, launched himself out, and died from the fall. Since then, Vedal shot Camila, Crelly died in a car crash, and Neuro and Evil got stuck in the ground. The highlight? Neuro randomly soaring across the sky for no apparent reason.
The chaos is riveting. The long objective, combined with a group that could wander off, die, or lose their car at any moment, is pure cinema. Even finding a vehicle big enough is a challenge—they've installed a makeshift seat on the roof of the Neuro Car, though the twins can't sit there or the game breaks. Vedal even modded in custom Neuro and Evil livery.
At the time of writing, the group is about 53% through their trip after three days of streaming roughly 10 hours per day. The desert is vast, the cars are unreliable, and the most dangerous obstacle so far is a well. But with this much chaos, we'll be following every kilometer.
What do you think? Will you be tuning in to watch the rest of this insane road trip?
