Ever been chased down by a relentless Bully in Arc Raiders? These guys are no joke. Added in the Frozen Trail update, Bullies are fast, aggressive, and pack a serious punch. They're like a mix between a Bombardier and a Leaper, sprinting at you with shotgun blasts and grenades that leave little room to breathe. But don't worry—we've got the tips to help you take them down.
First, aim for the legs. The Bully's weak spot is its leg joints, marked by yellow. Shooting the exterior plates on its legs makes those weak spots easier to hit. There's also a risky option: shoot down the barrel of its turret just before it fires. If you time it right with a powerful armor-piercing weapon, you can stun it and cancel the shot. But mess up, and you're in for a world of hurt. Energy weapons, especially high armor-penetration ones like the Aphelion, are also super effective, shredding its armor quickly. Just remember, bringing such valuable weapons into battle is a risk.
In combat, use height to your advantage. Bullies can't climb, so rooftops or elevated positions keep you safe. Even better, shoot from small windows—grenades are too wide-spread to reliably hit you, and the shotgun gives you time to duck. If you see grenades incoming, run! They're timed explosives with a wide blast radius, so sprint away and wait for them to detonate.
Pin it down with equipment like the Showstopper or Yank Grenade to stun or hold it in place, giving you a chance to hit its weak spots or plant a Deadline mine. Armor-piercing weapons like the Hullcracker can break its shell early, leaving it vulnerable to regular fire. And if you're lucky, a large explosion on uneven terrain might flip it onto its back—unleash everything you've got before it rights itself.
Bullies are durable, so it'll take time no matter what. But once defeated, they split into pieces you can scavenge. The only unique drop is the Bully Fragmenter, an Epic crafting item used for the level 3 Research Station and more. So, what's your strategy for taking down these bullies? Will you be hunting them for that Fragmenter? Let us know!
