Gargoyles Live-Action Reboot Is Dead, Says Creator

Remember when Disney announced a live-action Gargoyles reboot and we all got a little excited? Well, it's time to wake up from that dream because the show is officially dead. Creator Greg Weisman dropped the news, and it's a bummer for fans of the '90s cartoon.

Weisman confirmed the reboot is no longer moving forward, but he didn't spill the beans on why. It's a classic Hollywood story: projects get shelved all the time, but this one stings a bit. Gargoyles was a cult classic with a surprisingly deep story, so the live-action remake had a lot of potential.
