Did you catch that? Rockstar just dropped the third GTA 6 trailer out of nowhere, and it's packed with PS5 gameplay, story hints, and a brand-new Justice track. Within 30 minutes, it racked up over 1.5 million views. Yeah, people are hyped.
The 90-second trailer gives us a deeper look at protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. It opens with Jason reflecting on his past: "I got into some trouble in the army, left on bad terms. They don't give loans or anything to guys like me." We then see him working at Brian Heder's marina, polishing boats, before getting a collect call from Lucia in prison. From there, it's a whirlwind of vault heists, helicopter chases skimming skyscrapers, explosions, and intimate moments that show their bond.
Later, Lucia asks, "We gonna be okay?" and Jason replies, "We've made it through everything together. We just gotta get through this." That lines up with Rockstar's official description: Jason and Lucia have always known they're underdogs, but a supposedly easy score goes sideways and drags them into a statewide conspiracy across Leonida. To survive, they'll need each other more than ever.
Music fans, take note: Justice isn't just providing the trailer song "Flower in a Hurricane" (featuring Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard) — they're also composing the original score for GTA 6. The official soundtrack, Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, is already available for pre-save on streaming services, and vinyl/CD pre-orders are live at gtavi-thealbum.com.
Rockstar confirmed that all the 4K footage in this third trailer was captured on a standard PS5, not a PS5 Pro. The trailer even opens with "Best played on PS5," highlighting the partnership with Sony. GTA 6 is set to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S, with digital pre-downloads starting November 12.
So, what do you think of the new trailer? Are you Team Jason or Team Lucia? And will you be pre-ordering? Let us know in the comments!
