PUBG Star XDD Defends 'Eggplant' After 2.9M Yuan Debt Ruling

A familiar name in the Chinese FPS scene is in hot water, and the internet is doing what it does best — talking about it.

A new record on China's official enforcement information site shows that well-known streamer Wu Quanqing, better known as "Eggplant," has been listed as a dishonest judgment debtor. The case carries an enforcement amount of 2,905,116 yuan, with an unfulfilled amount of 2,936,567.54 yuan, and the status reads "fully unfulfilled." Screenshots of the listing have since made the rounds online, sparking plenty of discussion.

Fellow CSGO streamer Danking couldn't resist a joke while talking about it on stream. "Do you have one yuan? Then you're richer than Eggplant," he quipped. Clips of that moment quickly spread across the internet, as clips tend to do.

Then XDD weighed in. The prominent FPS streamer, a former PUBG pro who played for several competitive teams before retiring to focus on streaming and esports events, was watching a clip of Danking's broadcast when he brought up his own history with Eggplant.

According to XDD, Eggplant once borrowed 50,000 yuan from him — and paid it back in full, interest included. He also described Eggplant as an honest guy, specifically pushing back on the idea that he's the type to borrow money by claiming family troubles and then blow it on spending.

So far, neither Wu Quanqing nor anyone representing him has publicly responded to the enforcement record. The exact reason behind the case and how it might be resolved remain unclear, and the details circulating online still need further confirmation.
